I've never been much into blogs, but I decided to start one due to the fact that I'm leaving to Niger for the Peace Corps in a few weeks. I start with an Orientation in Philadelphia on October 19th. I don't know how often I will have internet access, so I probably will only be able to update this once every few weeks, but when I do update some news it will be quicker than to mail it (I'll still mail things and be able to accept mails, but this is for instant updates.....). I'm very excited to leave soon, I've prepared myself and bought almost everything I need.

My name is Ryan Adams. I graduated from Portland State University in the Fall of 2007. In Oct 09 I left for Niger as a Peace Corps Volunteer with the Community Health Education Program. Because of growing security concerns, after only 6 weeks in Niger my training class is relocating to Madagascar in Dec 09. My journey continues.
